Our dual motor adjustable height office desks are available in 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm widths with 7 worktop finishes and 3 frame colours to choose from. You can choose from a single desk or an interconnected bank of desks with up to 6 users for collaborative working that include USB, phone and power socket connectivity. You can also add modesty panels, desktop screens and additional cable management to applicable products.

What are the benefits of a standing desk?

A standing desk allows you to alternate between a seated and standing position and is an ideal solution for those who spend a lot of their working day sitting down. Taking regular breaks from extended periods of sitting has been shown to reduce aches and pains and also benefit the cardiovascular system, improving blood flow and increasing focus.

In a professional environment, standing desks also provide a quick and easy way to address team members before returning to your seated position to continue work and allow for breaks from sitting without leaving your desk.

How high should a standing desk be?

The maximum height of the desk should be greater than the distance from the floor to your elbow whilst in a standing position. This will allow the weight of your arms to be fully supported by the desk at a 90 degree angle.

How long should you stand at a standing desk?

There are various schools of thought around this question but a commonly recommended sit to stand ratio is 10 minutes of standing for every 50 minutes of sitting down. Sitting for too long causes the vertebrae in the lower back to compress which can lead to pain and discomfort; you should aim to take a break from sitting down before these aches take hold and use the time to stretch out any tightness in your back and legs.

What is the maximum weight a standing desk can carry?

Our sit to stand desks are certified to British Standard to operate under a 160KG of load. There is no need to clear your desk in order to adjust the desk height.

Does changing the desk height make much noise?

Our electric standing desks are powered by either a single or dual motor and operate at 39db (the average refrigerator makes about 50db of sound). This allows for quick and discreet height adjustment.

What is a standing desk convertor?

Also known as a desk riser, this is a more cost effective solution to an electric standing desk which still offers the benefit of being able to take a break from extended periods of sitting down. Click here to see our ranges.

Does your range include corner standing desks?

Yes our Elev8 Touch corner standing desk is available in a range of sizes and colours and can be fitted into a left or right hand corner.

Do your sit stand desks come with a warranty?

Yes our range of sit stand desks come with a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty and also comply with British Standard BS EN 527-1, BS EN 527-2 & BS EN 527-3 & also EN 13849-1:2015, EN 60204-1:2006, EN 60335-1:2012/A11:2014, EN 62233:2008 and EN 50581:2012

Room of choice delivery in 3-6 working days

All of our products include free premium delivery to mainland UK in 3-6 working days. This is a two man delivery service and all items can be placed in your room of choice upon delivery.

Returns and refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
